Freelance artists are being invited to apply for grants as part of a scheme to rebuild youth arts in Renfrewshire.
PACE Theatre Company launched a year-long programme of initiatives named Ignite21, which start with a small grants fund.
A total of £15,000 will support freelance artists and creatives to work with your people in the area.
Grants, made available through Creative Scotland, will range between £750 and £3000.
The first phase of Ignite21 will also ensure free rehearsal space and advice for artists.
Jenni Mason, artistic director of PACE Youth Theatre said: “We are passionate about the transformative power of the arts and committed to creating exciting and accessible opportunities for young people, so we are thrilled to have this opportunity to distribute funds to develop new projects in Renfrewshire.”
The fund is open to freelance artists and creative practitioners living and working in Scotland looking to work directly with children and young people in Renfrewshire.
Artists who are based in Renfrewshire will be prioritised, followed by its neighbouring local authorities.
