Holding on to hope for 2021

“And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.” — 1 Peter 5:10

As we wrap up the first month of 2021, the STAR Catholic School Division Board of Trustees extends its thanks to students, staff, and families for their incredibly hard work and dedication over the past year, and looks to the year to come with hope.

Adapting to the reality of our new normal hasn’t always been easy, and although this year will have its own unique set of challenges, we are confident in the ability of our school communities to continue adjusting successfully. We learned many lessons over the last year; for this we are thankful, as they will assist us in overcoming obstacles during the months ahead.

We have all felt the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on our personal and professional lives, on our overall well-being, and on our mental health. As time goes on, the burden can feel more difficult to bear. However, with news of vaccine roll outs representing a light at the end of the tunnel, now more than ever, we must remain optimistic.
