French online staffing platform Freelance.com announced the signing of a contribution agreement with the Coworkees group, an online staffing platform that supports companies wishing to work with freelance specialists in marketing and communication in France and Switzerland.
According to Freelance.com the agreement will lead to the merger of the two entities and will allow Freelance.com to strengthen its community of external talents with new profiles specialising in marketing and communication, and thus to respond ever more effectively to business needs.
Founded in 2016 by Julie Huguet, Coworkees now has 10 employees, and works with more than 1,000 companies and 25,000 freelancers.
“This merger between Freelance.com and Coworkees opens up great prospects,” Laurent Levy, CEO of Freelance.com said. “In less than two years, Coworkees has been able to convince thousands of freelancers and clients, in France and Switzerland, thanks to team’s passionate and innovative initiatives. We are convinced that their expertise will help to strengthen our value proposition.”
