TNG Digital is on the search for a head of product marketing and digital acquisition, who will be reporting to director of marketing and communications Izra Izzudin. The individual will lead product marketing initiatives and drive monthly and annual average user growth via digital marketing, the job post on LinkedIn said. He or she will also ensure product and business units’ campaigns run as planned and on schedule. The individual will also be responsible for budget management for both product marketing and digital marketing, and client-based ad sales is also an added time-to-time task.
According to TNG Digital, the individual is required to have been in a senior or leadership position for more than six years and proven working experience in customer-driven and digital marketing. He or she is also expected to have demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display ad campaigns. Additionally, the job post said the candidate should also be highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
Separately in August this year, the company appointed LOKi to manage social media duties for Instagram and YouTube, and retained Zeno Group Malaysia for its PR remit, along with social media duties for Facebook. The appointment is for a year until 30 June 2021 and follows a pitch in June which saw six agencies vying for the account.
LOKi currently oversees the direction, strategy, content creation and creatives for Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s Instagram and YouTube channels. Meanwhile, Zeno Malaysia is responsible for all of TNG Digital’s PR which includes driving thought leadership, providing overarching direction and narrative support, and execution for all on-going campaigns. It also continues to manage Touch ‘n Go eWallet’s Facebook account, which involves digital strategy, communications and creative work at its best – reaching out to Malaysians from the grassroots. Zeno was first appointed in 2018 to manage PR and social media duties following a pitch involving four agencies.
