Amid a pandemic and global recession, more pressure is on companies to get maximum value from their marketing budgets. To help do that, creative consultancy GO! has announced the launch of Expertise, offering advisory work to its brand, agency and in-house clients.
Founded by brothers Gareth and Russell Oakley, The GO! Network is a marketing consultancy aiming to improve the way brands and agencies operate their digital marketing and advertising spend. The firm’s consultants provide buyers of marketing services guidance on projected agency spend and budgets, while working with agencies to help them optimise their own business development and internal operations.
With clients including the likes of Betfred, Levi’s, Match.com and Zuto, GO! placed over £8 million of briefs to agencies in its first 12 months alone, while 65 agencies across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds came to be represented by GO! The heightened demand saw the firm swiftly outgrow its initial office, moving into a new HQ in Manchester in late 2019.
Now, as the firm continues to expand its service to clients across the UK, GO! has announced the launch of its newest consultancy offering, Expertise. The dedicated advisory line for GO!’s agencies and brands will operate as an independent offering, and has been developed to help all parties involved achieve their ambition for growth and efficiency.

As a further extension of services in this area, Expertise will look to help brands ensure that in-house teams can find, qualify and select the perfect agency for their channels and strategy. The service will also provide insight and guidance for agencies on specific areas relevant to new business, including; the positioning of the agency, the effectiveness of the operational model or the complete build of a bespoke new business strategy. Meanwhile, for in-house teams, Expertise’s database members, known as ‘Experts,’ can be used as an outsourced on-demand resource, providing support and guidance to internal teams and acting as an independent assessor of agency pitch processes or service reviews.
