Huge interest as North-East 250 is showcased in digital marketing campaign

A popular north-east driving route has seen a surge in interest from around the world following a new digital marketing campaign.

Almost 1.5 million people have engaged with efforts to bring the North East 250 to a greater audience.

Find Yourself on The North East 250 was part-funded by VisitScotland and included Visit Moray Speyside.

It featured an array of short videos highlighting what the route has to offer.

Regional director of VisitScotland, Jo Robinson, said: “We knew the visitor economy around the North East 250 was already a strong proposition but now we have clear evidence of the high demand for the region.”

The route was recently ranked by Lonely Planet’s Ultimate Travel List in the top 500 unmissable global travel experiences.
