No new local cases of COVID-19 over the weekend

No new local cases of COVID-19 were reported to the Grey Bruce Health Unit over the weekend.

Public health’s situation reports for both Saturday and Sunday said the number of known active cases in Grey-Bruce remains at zero.

The last confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in Grey-Bruce was reported to the local health unit Aug. 13.

So far during this pandemic, there have been 127 cases of COVID-19 reported in Grey-Bruce and 121 of those cases have recovered with the other six being referred to another health unit.

No one has died of the virus in Grey-Bruce and there are no current outbreaks of COVID-19 in any of Grey-Bruce’s long-term care facilities.
