A coalition of organizations, including the city of Indianapolis, will Tuesday unveil a new online tool to help displaced workers get back to work.
EmployIndy and Ascend Indiana will detail a Rapid Re-Employment Response portal, a free service intended to help the thousands of Marion County residents who lost their jobs because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The unified system intends to coordinate multiple agencies to connect job seekers with companies that are looking to fill positions. It will also help dislocated workers who could benefit from additional training in other fields.
Inside INdiana Business will have more details from the announcement in Tuesday afternoon’s INside Edge e-newsletter.
