Kiwi cannabis company looking for ‘master grower’ to oversee Bay of Plenty sites

The chosen master grower’s main responsibilities include project management, team-leading, training other staff on good growing practices and data entry. The successful candidate will also have to monitor multiple sites and deal with confidential information “in a professional manner”.

Organic Greenz was founded in December 2018, according to the New Zealand Companies Office Register.

That’s the same month a law was passed that made marijuana available to thousands of patients and paved the way for Kiwi companies to manufacture medicinal cannabis products.

On April 1, the Government’s Medicinal Cannabis Scheme came into effect, improving access to quality medical cannabis products for patients and allowing GPs to prescribe CBD.

Later this year, New Zealanders will have the opportunity to vote on recreational cannabis use in a referendum held alongside the general election on September 19.
