UK-based accountancy firm, Mazuma has teamed up with specialist insurer Create Insurance in a bid to offer the latter’s customers with direct access to Mazuma’s accountancy service. Create Insurance provides a range of covers for freelancers, self-employed workers, and small businesses in the creative industries. It offers public liability insurance, professional indemnity insurance, equipment insurance and employers’ liability insurance.
Mazuma’s services allow it to offer online accounting to businesses across the UK. It works directly with the freelancers and SMBs and aims to assist them during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s co-founder Lucy Cohen said, “We’re pleased to be partnering with Create Insurance to offer freelancers and micro-businesses in the creative industries the specialist services they need, especially now when many have been dealing with their finances and business planning during lockdown.”
Create Insurance’s online quoting system allows creative professionals to customise their cover on the basis of need, levels and length. The company is based in Leicester and are a part of BHIB Insurance Brokers.
